Radio Release® – Audio News Producer
Radio Release® is Australia’s leading provider of audio news releases.
Our audio grabs are heard every day on radio stations right around Australia. Over the past 20 years, we’ve produced nearly 10,000 releases and generated over 250,000 radio news reports.
To help build on this success, we are currently seeking an experienced radio journalist or news-minded audio professional to assist with conducting interviews and a range of production-related tasks.
The position involves:
– Recording interviews and producing high-quality radio news grabs.
– Conversing with leaders in government, business, healthcare, charity, sport and entertainment
– Preparing content in our Release Management System
– Assisting with other aspects of release preparation, production and client reporting
– Additional support and administrative tasks
The ideal candidate will have:
– No less than two years’ experience in commercial radio, news media or professional podcasting
– A well-rounded interest in news and current affairs
– Experience conducting interviews and editing short-form audio (ideally with Adobe Audition)
– Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
– Strong initiative, organisational skills and attention to detail

The position is full-time, based in our Melbourne office. Part-time employment may be considered for an exceptional candidate, however, your engagement will be five days per week, Monday to Friday
