We have an exciting full-time role available for a Promotions Coordinator to join our Cairns team. Whilst radio specific experience is not essential, a background or interest in marketing and event management is required. This position would be ideal for a newly qualified marketing or communications graduate wanting to make their mark in the media industry.
Reporting to the Promotions Manager, the Promotions Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the planning and implementation of promotional activities for the market.
This fun and challenging role involves organising and running our station promotions and events, lots of outdoor activities, action, and lots of work; a love of meeting and engaging with people is a necessity as well. You need to be well presented, motivated, well organised, able to handle the pressure of lots of things happening at once and do it all with big genuine smile.
The ideal candidate for this role will be exceptionally well organised, have the ability to manage numerous tasks simultaneously, be naturally inclined to be positive, have high levels of energy and be physically fit and able, as a significant amount of lifting and moving items is an inherent part of the role.
This is a permanent position with immediate start, and this role requires work outside normal office hours and during weekends.
