Located in Southport on the Gold Coast, we are looking for vision switchers to work shifts during the week (Monday to Friday) – or on Weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
Excellent studio facilities, small team, international news talk programs and opportunity to learn and progress.
Attractive rates will be offered to suitable candidates who will be able to show initiative and be able to work unsupervised in a small studio environment.
Tasks
- Operate the vision mixing console in accordance with studio requirements.
- Assist program hosts and guests with framing and lighting aspects.
- Apply digital effects during live broadcasts.
- Combine relevant images while on-air to ensure smooth transitions between shots.
- Manage colours and contrast balance of the master output.
- Perform functionality checks on vision-mixing devices.
- Switch between cameras and other visual sources based on instructions.
- View different types of images from a variety of sources.
Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous. Additional training will be provided. Additional training will be provided.
Successful candidates will
- Be comfortable with broadcast schedules and computer applications (MAC and PC).
- Enjoy interacting with hosts and their guests.
- Possess high levels of concentration to deliver a smooth production amidst high pressure.
- Possess strong visual and aural awareness, with excellent colour vision.
- Have attention to detail and be able to multi-task effectively.
