1000 enrollees for the Community Radio Broadcasting Codes of Practice course and counting

With the new Community Radio Broadcasting Codes of Practice taking effect from July 1 2025, the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) have encouraged community broadcaster to engage with a suite of resources including the Community Radio Broadcasting Codes of Practice course.
1000 people have now enrolled in this simple introduction to the new code. Broadcast teams such as 89.3 Gulf FM in South Australia have completed it together (main image). 3MDR in Victoria have made it a compulsory requirement with their entire board and almost all of their presenters having now completed the course.
The CBAA recommends that everyone in community broadcasting – from those at the front desk to the techs working out back – does the course and understands what’s expected of community broadcasters.
