103.7 FM Bunbury, the newest Australian community radio station will air its first test transmission tomorrow, Thursday 21st May.
The station is the result of 4 years of planning from the Bunbury Community Radio members and board and will facilitate the Bunbury, Eaton, Australind, Roelands, Brunswick, Binningup, Dardanup, Gelorup, Dalyellup and Capel areas.
Bunbury Community Radio was issued a broadcasting licence by ACMA late last year and the Board raised significant funds through grants and sponsorship. Grant applications of over $250,000 were written, along with a significant number of sponsorship presentations.
