104.1 Territory FM, James Perrin and Johnny MacKay are about to hit the road on an epic nine day road trip across Australia to bring back the newest member of the 104.1 family, 1970s viscount caravan, all the way from Ballarat Victoria.

Kicking off in Ballarat on Thursday, the journey will see the duo travel across two states stopping at major towns and landmarks along the way such as Horsham, Coober Pedy, Uluru and Wycliffe Well.

Territorians will be able to follow their adventure online through Facebook, Twitter and the 104.1 website with the chance to win a trip for two aboard The Legendary Ghan.

Station general manager Peter Perrin says he hopes the duo return to Darwin with the caravan in one piece. “You couldn’t have two better ambassadors for the Top End than our intrepid travellers, James, who has trouble finding the studios each morning and ‘Kiwi’ Johnny. Between the two of them we hope they will find their way home and I think it will be an awesome journey to follow.”

104.1 Territory FM will cross live to the duo daily and anticipates their arrival in Darwin on Friday 9 September, 2011.
