$2,500 training for young radio broadcasters

If you’re a radio maker aged 16 – 26 years of age and want to develop your web and radio skills, the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia has $2,500 worth of training for you absolutely free.

The Web + Training project consists of a seven days all expenses paid trip to Canberra from the 4 – 10 November, 2002. Trainees will undertake 2 days of professional web development training covering all aspects of Dreamweaver software and web development, plus attend the Speak Up! Youth conference and the CBAA’s annual conference in Canberra.

The National Youth Media Network Web + Radio Project is a CBAA initiative jointly funded by the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal, Myer Foundation & Foundation for Young Australians.

Trainees will also be paid $200 to produce a short radio piece for broadcast on their community radio station when they return from Canberra.
