Austereo has been showing off its new studios this week during a series of Christmas functions for invited guests.

The impressive new complex spread over three floors in Sydney’s new World Square building and boasts a rooftop function room and glass walled studios that put the on-air presenters and producers right in the middle of all the activity in the open plan office.

Line of sight between the control room, production studio and on air studios is enhanced by the glass walls and the space, in contrast with the old cramped Bondi studios, is big enough for the occasional game of basketball!

The on air desk if Klotz, and the studio audio editor is made by VoxPro.

The announcer mic hangs from the ceiling in front of the announcer, as do the monitor speakers. Guest mics sit on the desk with their own mini control panel in front of them.
