2GB, 4BC and 9Podcasts kicking off a star studded NRL season 2024

After a successful inaugural opening weekend of the 2024 NRL season in Las Vegas, the rest of round one continues from Thursday with Sydney’s 2GB and Brisbane’s 4BC providing star studded coverage and commentary as well as a scrum of 9Podcasts so you can enjoy the game wherever you are.

The Continuous Call Team is back for its 38th season, calling every game live and free on 2GB, 4BC and stations across Australia. Returning are Darryl Brohman, Paul Gallen, Mark ‘Piggy’ Riddell, Josh Morris, Jamie Soward, Allana Ferguson, Boyd Cordner and Mark Gasnier.

David Morrow who retired after a brain cancer diagnosis last month will be profoundly missed by and from the team. Mark Levy steps up as lead-commentator with Mathew Thompson and Chris Warren also calling games each week. Neil Breen joins the Sunday panel for the first time, returning to Nine Radio to give insight on the game he loves.

Naturally Ray Hadley will feature in the commentary box too, during State of Origin and for the NRL Finals series, continuing his record-breaking tally of 96 Origin and 34 Grand Final calls.

Luke Davis, 2GB Content Manager, said:
