2ST’s local sport show returns with a new host

The Sideline View returns to 2ST this Saturday, with new host and former NRL referee Luke ‘Pottsy’ Potter.

With regular guests including former NRL State of Origin star Jamie Soward, Pottsy’s looking forward to diving into everything grass roots sport – from the local Croquet club and cricket competitions through to the Group 7, local baseball teams and more.

2ST Content Director, Mandy Coolen, says “We’re thrilled to have Pottsy as part of the team but the hardest thing will be keeping the show to three hours every Saturday, because once he starts talking sport, he’s hard to stop!”

Pottsy says he can’t wait to get started on the show and looks forward to be hosting a live and local sport show, “I’m thrilled to be shining a light on local sports stories and the Shoalhaven and Highlands sporting community and I’ll try to squeeze as many sporting cliches as possible!”.

CEO of Grant Broadcasters, Alison Cameron, says the locally produced and hosted afternoon sports show will be presented by unique local presenters in 24 of the network’s markets this year, which will also include regular updates of the major National sports codes.

Alison says,“Local sport is vital to regional communities and we are committed to providing a conduit for that connection.”
