2XL and Snow FM on the move

Radio Snowy Mountains operator of FOREVER CLASSIC 2XL, SNOW FM and KIX COUNTRY Snowy Mountains has bought a new building in Cooma to house its Cooma broadcast operations.

The building is on Sharp Street in Cooma.

Radio Snowy Mountains will undertake a refurbishment of the building and fit out of management and advertising offices along with the construction of a studio for production of radio commercials.

The on air studios for the stations are located in its Jindabyne Broadcast Centre.

Radio Snowy Mountains is expected to move into the completed facility in February next year.

Richard Wybrew, General Manager of Radio Snowy Mountains said “the facilities will be state of the art and will be a great environment for the Cooma team members”. He went on to say “it will be sad to move the Cooma operations from the present building at 28 Sharp Street but that installation was now over 30 years old and had reach its used by date in regards to technology”.

The current facility will become surplus to requirements of the group when the move takes place and will be sold.
