He didn’t make the #ACRAs2015 on the Gold Coast last weekend to receive the award alongside collegue John Burns for Best On-Air Team AM, Ross Stevensen is recovering from back surgery.

 
The 3AW host ruptured a disc in his back a couple of weeks ago, but surgery went well and he is now recovering.
 
However, so keen is he to get back on air, John got the breakfast show back together by organising a pyjama party at Ross’ house this morning, complete with champagne to celebrate the win.
 
“He still can’t drive, so 3AW Breakfast has brought the portable to his house, in what he assures us is ‘The Good Room’.”
