4BH is setting itself to take advantage of 4KQ’s departure from the Classic Hits market in Brisbane.

With 4KQ set to join the SEN network and move into Sports, the Ace Radio Network has confirmed that it will transition to a Classic Hits station with a branding change and outdoor ads already up in Brisbane.

Ace Radio CEO, Mark Taylor, says “There was a clear and obvious hole in the market. We

could have waited, but just thought – let’s get going. All the stuff that 4KQ listeners are going to miss, we’ll be able to deliver.”

Taylor says his station has identical coverage and with DAB+ and an app listeners will have three ways to listen to 4BH.

The ACMA has yet to approve SEN’s purchase of 4KQ.
