50 years reunion for 2VM

2VM Moree is exactly one month away from its 50th birthday and will celebrate the golden anniversary of Moree broadcasting on Friday 12th January.

To coincide with the special event, the station is now in the process of finalising the celebrations.

Former staffers like 2UE’s John Stanley are asked to get in touch with the station before Friday 5th January to record a short message about their memories of the station.

Audio will be run in local programs and during the news throughout the birthday week.

The station is also planning live broadcasts in the Moree region as a thank you to the community.
