Aussie group 5 Seconds Of Summer make it back to the airplay charts this week with their brand new single ‘Complete Mess’. The track was spun by 21 outlets this week, including Nova stations, KIIS and the Hit Network, recording a total of 277 spins.
At No. 27, 5SOS are currently the fifth highest-charting local artist behind The Kid Laroi (No. 19), Shouse (No. 20), Jolyon Petch (No. 23) and Vance Joy (No. 26).
Tate McRae debuts at No. 34 with ‘she’s all i wanna be’. The track improved by 55 spins this week (+34%), helped on by an additional 42 spins across the Nova network. McRae’s only other Top 40 single – ‘you broke me first’ – peaked at No. 7 in February 2021.
The hottest new collab to hit radio this week, Megan Thee Stallion & Dua Lipa’s ‘Sweetest Pie’ earned instant traction across commercial, garnering 173 first-week spins. Nova did the heavy lifting with 85 spins across its five metro stations.
