774 ABC Melbourne will present a great debate live on Tuesday October 6 at The Edge, Federation Square. Asking the question: “Is our obsession with sport mental as?”

The live event is part of the ABC’s support of Mental Health Week, October 4 -11. The ABC is going “Mental As” with a range of programming from comedy to documentary, entertainment to debate, aiming to help join the dots on mental health and challenge the stigma on an issue that impacts almost half of all australians.

The great debate will be umpired by Lindy Burns, 774’s self confessed sporting tragic, as Red Symons, Hilary Harper and Libbi Gorr will pit their wits against Jon Faine, Raf Epstein and Richard Stubbs.
