MIX 106.3’s Rod and Biggzy have been celebrating everything 80’s this month and today listeners got to relive another aspect of the 1980s… the price of petrol.

The pair opened up the pumps at the Caltex service station in Kaleen, pouring petrol at 59 cents a litre, the same as in 1982.

In 30 minutes they pumped over 2,700 litres with the queue still growing.
