91.1 Hot FM bring back the Coast’s Biggest Swimming Lesson including a new jingle by Cyril

91.1 Hot FM will bring back The Coast’s Biggest Swimming Lesson on Thursday, November 21 and have also refreshed the KIDS ALIVE DO THE 5 jingle with a little help from one of the hottest musical talents in Australia, DJ Cyril. The event shines a spotlight on the vital importance of swimming lessons for children under the age of five as well as raising awareness about water safety for young families across the Queensland Sunshine Coast.

Hot FM’s Breakfast presenter Ash Gierke is a former elite swimmer and swimming teacher who deeply understands the critical role that water safety plays in saving lives. She and her co-host Sam Coward have also used the event to team up with Laurie Lawrence the former Olympic coach who founded the KIDS ALIVE campaign. Launched in 1988, it has saved countless young lives by promoting water safety education and swimming lessons for children.

To ensure that the jingle’s message still resonates with today’s parents Sam & Ash a call out for an updated version and who should reply but ARIA-nominated DJ Cyril. The young father has promised a fresh, high-energy take, saying:

“I’m excited to take this jingle to the next level. By adding in guitars, removing some of the instrumentals, using a chrome master, and throwing in some drums, we’re going to make sure it sticks in people’s heads and gets the message out there.”

The live broadcast November 21 for local families and their kids will also include experts in the field of water safety. Parents are encouraged to bring their little ones and participate in the swimming lessons, tips, and resources for ensuring water safety at home, and in the pool.
