92.7 MIX FM has retained its number on position on the Sunshine Coast despite a drop of 1.1 in the latest Xtra Insights Survey for the area, the first since September 2021.
Mix leads with 15.9 from 91.9 Sea FM who are up by 0.6 to 13.8, from triple j on 12.5 and HOT91, dropping from 2nd to 4th, down 1.4 to 13.5.

Mark & Caroline for Breakfast (MIX) lead in breakfast with 17.4, down only slightly by 0.4 on the last survey, leading BarRat & Juelz for Breakfast (Sea FM) who were up by 0.8 to 15.1.
THE SPIN
The figures are interesting. There is over 30% of the 10+ audience not accounted for who must be listening to community radio or not listening at all. Over 40% of the 55 -64 age group and about 50% of the 65+ age group preferences are not listed here..
To be able the claim number 1 position when so much of the audience's listening preferences are not taken into account needs to be factored into any discussion about which station, of all the available choices not just those surveyed, is truly number 1.
