92.9 have announced that their Kids Appeal will feature a children’s comedy night. The night will take place next Wednesday at the Charles Hotel. “

We are doing everything we possibly can to raise as much money for the kids and for the equipment of Princess Margaret Hospital,” said Lisa from the Breakfast team.

The two week appeal reaches its midpoint this Friday, with $74,000 already raised. This will fund vital equipment for Princess Margaret Hospital, including wheelchairs, walking aids and blood pressure machines.

With 400 tickets available for Comedy For Kids, the night will raise at least $8,000.

“We have got a massive line up already in place,” Paul – another 92.9 breakfast announcer – added. “All of Perth’s best comedians are on board and it’s only going to cost you $20 to get your bum on a seat for Comedy For Kids.”

The night will showcase Joel Creasey. Lisa will also do a stand-up routine, and Paul will MC.

Other acts at Comedy For Kids include Emma Zammit, Bonnie Davis, Adam Peter Scott, Laura Davies, Brett Blake, Corey White and “a guy a bit like Madonna, a bit like Lady Gaga because he’s only got one name, Brent”.
