ABC, Austereo choose Klotz

Klotz Digital has won the tender for the rebuild of Austereo Melbourne. Klotz will provide VADIS D.C.II mixing consoles, VADIS 888 frames for all on-air studios, pre-production studios and all news booths.

In addition Klotz will also provide all signal routing for the Main Control Room (MCR) and a VARIZONE digital Public Address System. “We are honoured to have been chosen again by Austereo and are looking forward to be involved in this exciting project. Through the close work between the Austereo engineers and our staff, I believe that we have come up with a system design which will set the standard for a long time to come”, says Patrick Salloch, the newly appointed General Manager of Klotz Asia Pacific.

Klotz also recently won the ABC Melbourne tender which will see the Australian branch deliver and configure 16 on-air studios for the ABC between now and the end of 2008.
