Midway through last year the ABC announced that RMIT ABC Fact Check would cease with the contract with RMIT ending. Across a decade, hundreds of verdicts and nearly 200 editions of the CheckMate misinformation newsletter, politicians and social media sources were held to account for the stories, images and information they declared true.

Now the ABC is bringing their fact checking in house with ABC NEWS Verify where you are able to share information that seems too good (or bad) to be true for the Verify team to check for you.
