Josh Keech, who has led ABC staff’s ongoing pay negotiations in his role as Head of Employee Relations and WHS, has resigned after less than two years with the broadcaster.
According to The Age (subscription required), Keech’s decision came after he was questioned about a number of resignations in his team and a team building and strategy day out on a private yacht belonging to Tom Snow of the billionaire Snow family last month.
Sources told The Age that the boat was supplied to Keech and his team free of charge.
The strike action and subsequent proposed updated agreement sits at a stalemate while the CPSU and MEAA consult members ahead of a staff vote.
Keech’s final day with the ABC is April 24.
