ABC Local Radio says “I Love this Place,” in pictures

The National Trust of Australia today announced the winners of the “I love this place…” photographic competition, supported by the NSW Architects Registration Board and national radio partner ABC Local Radio.

The winners and top entries will be projected on the “media wall” at Customs House, Circular Quay, Sydney, on next Monday 6 October as part of the Sydney Architecture Festival. Click here to see winners and a selection of entries.

The competition received hundreds of entries from across the country, showcasing the great diversity and beauty of the built environments Australians love. “With the support of ABC Local Radio, we invited people in communities across Australia to pick up their cameras and reflect on their built environment, adding 100 words on why they love their special place” said Dr Annemarie Jonson, Head of communications and digital at the Trust.
