ABC Revamps All Four National Breakfast Programs

There will be new breakfast line ups in 2005 on all four ABC national networks, in a major makeover by Corporation management.

As part of the process, executives have announced 1233 ABC Newcastle morning presenter, Paul Bevan, will be the replacement for Clive Robertson on Classic FM breakfast.

As reported by radioinfo on Friday, European correspondent and former 7.30 Report political editor, Fran Kelly, will take over from Peter Thompson on Radio National breakfast from March.

With Russell Powell shifting to drive on ABC NewsRadio, the new breakfast host there is John Barron, who began last week.

And, as revealed by radioinfo late last month, Jason Whalley and Lindsay McDougall (Frenzal Rhomb) have been announced as the surprise replacements for Wil Anderson and Adam Spencer on Triple J breakfast.
