ABC’s fresh faces ready to go

Next week Sydney’s 702 ABC  line-up returns to the airways with a mix of new and familiar voices, highlighted by a live spectacular from the Magic Spiegeltent as part of the Sydney Festival.

New presenters Wendy Harmer and Christine Anu will join Richard Glover, James Valentine, Robbie Buck and Dom Knight live on stage for a sold out show in Hyde Park between 4-6pm on Thursday 21 January.

Station Manager, Cath Dwyer said 2016 is gearing up to be a huge year for the city and 702 will be at the centre of what’s happening in Sydney.

“This year 702 ABC Sydney will be where people come for the big conversations and stories that everyone is talking about. Our listeners will be informed and challenged through a diverse range of views, and will also have a lot of fun along the way,” she said.

Our 2016 line up has a wealth of talent and experience across a broad range of areas, and our listeners will be at the centre of well informed debate, lively entertainment and fascinating people.”

Popular radio host and journalist, Wendy Harmer, will present the Mornings program while the multi-talented Christine Anu will launch her radio career on Evenings in 2016.

They join 702’s weekday line up of Robbie Buck on Breakfast, James Valentine on Afternoons, Richard Glover on Sydney’s number one Drive program and Dominic Knight, sharing the Evenings program with Christine Anu until April.
