Monique Taylor has joined the ACE Radio News Team as Group News Director.
Monique will be based in the Albury newsroom and has spent the past 16 years working for Southern Cross Austereo in Albury, managing and mentoring journalists across Regional NSW, VIC, SA and TAS, as well as liaising extensively with Content Directors and General Managers.
Group Content Director, Mat Cummins, says, “Monique brings to ACE a wealth of leadership experience when it comes to developing journalists and regulatory compliance (ACMA), as well as being an extremely passionate and talented journalist.
“Over her 23 year radio news career, Monique has presented both National and Local News to more than 100 radio stations across Australia including into the key markets of Sydney and Melbourne, covering some of the biggest news stories in recent decades, such as the COVID pandemic, Black Summer Bushfires, Black Saturday, the Bali Bombings and the September 11 attacks.
