Adam and Wil’s last Triple J broadcast will reveal replacements

Triple J’s breakfast team Adam and Wil are hanging up their headphones for good this Friday November 26th and will broadcast live from Sydney Uni for their last show.

It’s a particularly special place for Adam because he’ll be finishing where it all started. Back in 1997 Adam was an eager uni student at an OB with former
j-stars Mikey Robbins and Helen Razer. They pulled Adam out of the crowd to read
the weather and the rest as they say is radio history.

Adam and Wil broadcast live from Sydney Uni’s Manning Bar with special guests including triple j Breakfast favourites Mary from Junee and The
Stink. Plus live performances from The Cops, Gerling and Frenzal Rhomb.

Adam and Wil will also reveal who is taking over Breakfast on triple j next year during the broadcast.

Radio industry gossip is flying think and fast on who will replace the pair. The most plausible gossip heard by radioinfo so far is that Frenzal Rhomb, who have been on air weekends at triple j recently, will replace Adam and Wil.

All will be revealed on Friday between 6am – 9am during the live OB.
