AFTRS Hobart Course this weekend – places still available

In keeping with its national role, the Australian Film Television and Radio School is running an Announcing and Presentation course in Hobart this weekend.

The two day course, conducted by Head of Radio Steve Ahern will cover announcing skills, interviewing, voice exercises, and broadcast law with a mixture of theoretical and practical sessions.

After the weekend course, which is open to individual participants from any ststion, Ahern will also run in-service training sessions for RG Capital stations and Midlands Community Radio stations later in the week.

The two day Hobart course is on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 October from 9am – 4pm each day. There are several places still available, but interested participants must act quickly to secure a place.
