AKG Contest Winner Announced

The winner of AKG’s Ultimate Tools of the Trade is Jamie “Mack” McDonald. Mack is currently working as a professional musician, Harmonica, and has appeared on stage with Nathan Cavaleri and Col Hatchman “Nat Col and the kings”, the Choirboys on their “Never going to die tour”, Kevin Borich at the broad beach blues festival.

He also played with Australian Rock Music legends, the Androids. And supported Colin Hay on His Australian tour in 2007 & 2010 working with the Duo “Petrol Money” .

Mack is also a radio annoncer that has worked on air in England for the BBC, in France for Europe 2 and Radio St Tropez. In Australia for Triple M and now fairfax stations 4BC and 4BH .

As part of his entry, Mack said, “I need a brilliant studio mike to record two new tracks for Nathan Cavaleri and new Album tracks for many other artists . I have a recording studio at home, but as the soul (sic) income provider for a family of four this would help my work in radio and music. I have heard about your equipment but have never been able to afford one myself.”

Mack now owns an AKG C414XLS studio quality microphone plus a pair of AKG’s top of the line, Quincy Jones endorsed, Q701 personal hi-fi headphones.
