Andrew G farewells The Hot Hits

Andrew Günsberg, the host of MCM Media’s nationally syndicated radio show, The Hot Hits, will leave the program at the end of the year.

The radio show is broadcast out of LA and counts down the 35 hottest hits of Hollywood, as well as talking directly to the artists and celebrities making news.

Andrew has hosted the music and pop culture show for three years as well as presenting the in-cinema show, The Hoyts Insider. Prior to moving to America, he hosted Take 40 Australia – the nation’s official music countdown show.

“I’m grateful to have spent ten amazing years at MCM Media. It’s been a blast, said Andrew. “Many thanks to everyone who has listened – and to all the radio stations who have taken the show. They’ve been very gracious with me moving on, and I thank the whole team for their support as I continue to the next chapter.”

MCM Media’s Group Content Director, Sam Thompson, paid tribute to Andrew’s dedication and professionalism.

“Andrew’s passion for music and his love of sharing this with audiences has always shone through his work. He’s entertained us here with the latest music and entertainment news from LA, while bringing a touch of Australia to Hollywood.  We wish him all the best for his future projects.”

An announcement on the new host for The Hot Hits will be made early next year.
