The 2006 Annual SMPTE Australia Section Christmas Bash is happening again on Wednesday 6 December at The Union Hotel 271 Pacific Highway, North Sydney. This party is open for members, guests, and anyone else who wants to register.

The night starts at 6.00pm and is being held upstairs in a function room with a private courtyard. A gourmet BBQ will be served accompanied by the usual liquid refreshments.

It is $20.00 per head for members and $30.00 for non-members, that fee covers all food and beer/wine/soft drinks up to 10.00pm.

There are some desirable lucky door prizes. Such as a Fuji 9mp digital camera which is the major prize, as well as other smaller prizes.
