Another Big Brother housemate for Hot 91 Sunshine Coast

Big Brother 2002 housemate Jess Hardy has landed a radio gig on the Sunshine Coast with recently launched radio station HOT91. The colorful Jess Hardy arrived on the Sunshine Coast Friday to join the team and host the station’s major launch promotion the WHEELIE BIN OF FORTUNE.

“When I was asked to come to the Sunshine Coast to host a major promotion with HOT91, I really didn’t have to think twice. I love the Sunshine Coast and I love doing radio so they really didn’t have to twist my arm at all,” said Hardy.

With an impressive list of radio jobs already behind her, Jess Hardy has cemented her way into the industry with work at Nova Melbourne as breakfast co host and roaving street reporter, and feels that hosting a major station promotion like this one “will just be a heap of fun.”

The singer, dancer, entertainer will be using all of those talents as she visits businesses and houses all over the coast in the 12 mtre HOT91 truck full of wheelie bins, threatening to empty the dirty contents on the contestants or giving them prizes or cash.

The station promotion has only been asking for registrations for 5 days and station Promotions & Marketing Director Deanne Johnson has been overwhelmed with the response so far.

“We have effectively only been on air for 5 days and the emails and SMS registrations for this competition alone has been amazing. If these registrations are any indications of how we are going in the marketplace, then it would be safe to say that we are certainly being sampled by a huge amount of people on the Sunshine Coast.”

Hardy began the first Wheelie Bin of Fortune competition spot this week with the HOT91 HOT ROD team and will be performing more live crosses to the station with interactive listener participation, offering over $25,000 in cash and prizes and more importantly a heap of stinky, dirty old rubbish.
