After announcing today that Ron Wilson will leave his smooth FM Sydney breakfast role for 2SM, the Super Radio Network have wasted no time in nabbing another from the Nova Network with Mary-Ann Harris joining their newsroom.

Mary-Ann has worked as a newsreader, reporter, producer, editor and publicist across her 30 plus year career for Vogue, WIN, Nine Entertainment, Mushroom Records, Warner Brothers and most recently smooth FM. She will provide the breakfast news for Ron.

With Ron now providing a local show for Sydneysiders, Richard King will be able to focus solely on Newcastle and his 2HD audience, with next year additional local breakfast shows on the cards for the network in Orange, Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour.

The next piece of the puzzle is 2SM Mornings. With the retirement of both commercial radio talk presenters in the slot, John Laws and Ray Hadley, we wait for those announcements from Nine and the SRN.

Mary-Ann commences on the 6th of January, 2025.
