2Day’s Kyle and Jackie O were already going and now Fox FM’s Matt & Jo have also been given their plane tickets. So far they are the only breakfast radio show in Melbourne to be heading over to London to cover one of the biggest celebrity events of the year, perhaps the decade, Kate & Will’s Royal Wedding.

This is Matt & Jo’s first ever trip overseas together as a show. They’ll spend a week in London and will be heard live on Fox FM from the UK on Wednesday 27 April, Thursday 28 April and the wedding day, Friday 29 April.

Jo Stanley is ecstatic and says that every girl’s fantasy is to be swept off her feet by a Prince. “This is a once in a lifetime spectacle with a real life Prince marrying his princess and I don’t know anyone that wouldn’t want to be a part of such a historic moment in time.”

Matt Tilley said the last time he was promised an overseas trip with the radio show it was a Russian adventure that got cancelled at the last minute. “This is a big thing for our show and for anyone who can’t get work off to be in London, they can just listen to us chasing Elton around town for an autograph, it’ll be great.”

The content for the show will heavily revolve around the royal wedding itself and they will be on the lookout for fanatical Aussies that have made the long-haul flight just to see Kate and Will, wed.
