Austereo signs with RCS for new software

RCS’ new AQUIRA software has found an early adopter in Austereo. RCS Australia Managing Director, Keith Williams says, “The new AQUIRA is a powerful and highly flexible traffic system designed for both local and national sized radio businesses.

“With its modern user interface, AQUIRA provides real-time access to sales and inventory data. From a single database AQUIRA users can schedule, bill, report and manage their entire enterprise,” said Mr Williams.

Austereo’s Chief Operating Officer, Geraint Davies says the decision to purchase AQUIRA was exhaustive. “We undertook a global review of scheduling systems developing a short list of three potential partners before finally selecting RCS & their AQUIRA product.

“In our review it was not just the product that we critiqued but the approach of the partner. This is where RCS’s demonstrated not only their ability and expertise in being able to understand our business but also their willingness to develop their product to better meet those business requirements,” said Mr Davies.

CEO and President of RCS worldwide, Philippe Generali comments, “RCS has been helping broadcasters with TRAFFIC for more than two decades in the Pacific Rim, Asia and Europe. With the launch of AQUIRA, we will be able to deliver our new business and traffic software to a wider footprint on the planet. We are excited and honoured to be working with one of the premiere broadcasters of
the world: Austereo.”
