Australian named Vice President of Asia Pacific for RCS

After 13 years with RCS in Australia, it’s Australian Managing Director, Keith Williams has been appointed Vice President of Asia Pacific for the international computing and monitoring company – effective immediately.

He will be based in Sydney.

Keith spent 30 years in radio both as a programmer and on air. Along with winning the “Best Music Personality” & “Best General Announcer,” Keith also programmed Sydney’s Triple M FM and Auckland, New Zealand’s 89FM.

For 12 years, Williams achieved the number one ratings position on Sydney’s 2Day FM. In January 2001, Keith left the radio mic behind to embrace his new role as General Manager of AirCheck, a division of RCS. He oversees the company’s operations in Australia.

He’ll be responsible for all markets in Asia Pacific including India /China /Japan/Singapore/ Thailand/Malaysia/Indonesia/Hong Kong/Vietnam/NZ/Taiwan/South Korea and Australia

In the 13 years Keith has been at RCS, he developed and marketed the world’s first music delivery service on the internet delivering songs and promotional media from record company to radio stations. Musicpoint was Australian owned and invented.

Shortly afterwards he introduced the AirCheck monitoring to Australia. Providing Spot and Songs data from all commercial radio stations in in the top nine Australian markets, Free to Air and Music TV and now local internet monitoring of banner adverting on the Top 100 websites in Sydney and Brisbane.
