- Biggest Mover: BANNERS – “Someone To You” from No. 14 to No. 7
- New No.1: Justin Bieber Feat Daniel Caesar – “Peaches” showing no sign of slowing down after 13 weeks
- Heating Up: Vance Joy – “Missing Piece” gaining 85 spins this week bringing him to No. 5
This week English singer songwriter BANNERS was the biggest mover on the AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart, lifting to No.7 with ‘Someone To You’. Up 14.9% from last week, KIIS and Nova in Melbourne were leading the pack both increasing spins from last week. Meanwhile Nova 969 upped airplay by 3 spins to lead Sydney with 30.
Doja Cat & SZA dropped to No. 2 in their 10th week on the chart but continue to dominate with a massive 744 spins only down 7 from last week.
Closing in on the top 5 is 26 year old Tom Grennan’s ‘Little Bit Of Love’ up 3 spots from last week to No. 6. Of the 21 radio stations that spun the track, the Hit Network has given it more love this week with 104.1 2DayFM up from 19 to 24 spins. Nova again lead the charge however with all their capital city stations averaging 44 spins.
Newcomers to the chart Anne-Marie & Nial Horan with ‘Our Song’ and Marshmello & Jonas Brothers’ ‘Leave Before You Love Me’ both only 4 weeks in but 14.7 and 8.6% more airplay than last week respectively. KIIS 1011getting behind Anne Marie & Nial with 29 spins in all dayparts this week up from only 6 in afternoons and evenings last week. HIT & NOVA networks as well as KROCK and NEWFM also span the track this week.
