Save Barry Day was a success and Austereo’s new digital radio channel, Barry, is now on air. The Grill Team launched the new station at an OB in Parramatta last week, with a famous Barry dropping by to help with the launch.

Barry Crocker was a guest star at the OB, and Triple M’s street team gave out Barry t-shirts and Barry Crocker face masks to listeners who came along to mark the occasion.

Scared Weird Little Guys did their comedy act and sang a Barry song and The Mayor of Paramatta turned up to celebrate, bringing his mate Barry with him. A Triple M listener named Bruce even officially change his name to Barry in honour of the new channel’s launch.
