SAFM’s Bec & Soda and The Garden of Unearthly Delights are presenting a special free concert for the flood affected communities South Australia’s Riverland.
Mark Soderstrom and Rebecca Morse say, “The Riverland is such an iconic part of our state, and it has been heart breaking to watch what has happened over the last few months.
“We know making the trip down to Adelaide to enjoy The Garden of Unearthly Delights will be difficult for residents of the Riverland as they work through the clean-up, so we’ve decided to take The Garden to them.
“If we can bring just a small amount of relief and some laughs to everyone, it’s the least we can do.”
Riverland communities in South Australia’s east have faced immense hardship since the floods began in 2022, with up to 4,000 properties inundated with water and 3,500 properties disconnected by SA Power Networks.
The Riverland Garden Party will be held at the Renmark Rovers Football Club on Monday 20th February 2023, and free tickets are available now.
