More than 750 people attended 2GB‘s Glenn Wheeler Fundraiser Lunch on Monday 2 November 2015 at Doltone House Sydney, raising an impressive $100,000.

The event was Wheeler’s first public appearance since his scooter accident in February.

 

Ben Fordham worked tirelessly behind the scenes to organise the day and he was a fantastic MC.

Alan Jones spoke eloquently and emotionally, and Ray Hadley was an energetic and engaging auctioneer, auctioning donated items and raffle prizes for Glenn.

A bible donated by The Big Marn and signed by Treasurer Scott Morrison and Ray Hadley, as well as including dinner for four people at Doltone House, was auctioned for more than $9,000.

Johnny Young provided entertainment for the event.
