Bob Spence passes at 86

Radio verteran Bob Spence, presenter of Good Morning Country has passed away at 86.

CBAA has expressed its condolences saying: “​It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of veteran Good Morning Country presenter Bob Spence, age 86, who passed away early on Thursday 11 December, 2014.
 
A true gentleman and former broadcaster with Sydney stations 2SER, 2SSR and 2RDJ, Bob was an original founder of Good Morning Country in 2000 and the show’s first Program Manager. Having previously presented the five-hour CRN overnight program ‘Australia Country Wide’, Bob was a dedicated Country music fan who was inducted into the Australian Country Music Broadcasters Hall Of Fame in 2004.

Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him and enjoyed his excellent radio programs.”
