Bouman case against ATN settled out of court

The court case between Jason Bouman and the Australian Traffic Network has been settled out of court today, with all matters “fully resolved.”

In a carefully worded agreed statement, Bouman received an apology from ATN Managing Director Bill Pezzimenti, who “apologies to Mr Bouman for any hurt or suffering that may have been caused by… the decision to transfer Mr Bouman from his post at channel 9.”

In return Bouman apologised for hurtful comments that may have been made towards Pezzimenti by others as a result of publicity surrounding the case.

The Australian Traffic Network is pleased that the matter has been resolved and expressed full confidence in Pezzimenti and his team.

The full text of the statement is below.

Bouman, who now does the drive shift on C91.3 Campbelltown, is on air today and not available for comment. He referred radioinfo to the statement.
