CBA FM103.2 presenters short-listed for book of the year awards

FM103.2’s “Open House” presenter – Sheridan Voysey, “Reflection” presenter – John Dickson and board member (Sky News Presenter) – Leigh Hatcher have all been short-listed for the 2006 Australian Christian Book of the Year Awards.

Books are judged based on the original nature of the work, literary style, overall design, and the contribution the book makes in meeting a need in Christian writing for the Australian situation and in the Australian market.

Of the nine nominated books, four have been written by FM103.2 colleagues – these include:

“A Spectator’s Guide to Jesus: An Introduction to the Man from Nazareth” and
“Promoting The Gospel: Guide to Biblical Art of Sharing Your Faith” by John Dickson

“I’m Not Crazy, I’m Just a Little Unwell: My Journey Through Chronic Fatigue” by Leigh Hatcher

“Unseen Footprints: Encountering the Divine Along the Journey of Life” by Sheridan Voysey.

On hearing the news Sheridan commented, “I was delighted to discover Unseen Footprints had made the short-list. And amongst such worthy competition! I think the list simply highlights the high quality of work crafted by Australian Christian authors speaking to contemporary issues.”

The Winner will be announced on Wednesday 13th September, and more information on the Australian Christian Book of the Year Awards can be found at the weblink below.
