The 2024 CBAA Conference and Awards is coming up, with Mikaela Simpson and Stephen Stockwell (pictured) announced as hosts this year on the Gold Coast.
Mikaela is a well known voice across Central Australia, beginning her media career working for CAAMA Radio in Alice Springs before starting with the ABC when she was 23. She is a former member on the CBAA Board and CGAC, a presenter for Double J and as a national presenter across the country.
Stephen is an audio producer and manager who started at 4ZZZ in Brisbane before heading to commercial radio and the ABC. From 2021 to 2023 he returned to 4ZZZ as station manager and is now based in Naarm working with the ABC across Audio Studios, ABC News and triple j.
Stephen will be MCing the Business of Broadcasting stream of sessions. Mikaela, the Content of Broadcasting stream.
