An annual showcase of work by new and emerging Australian community radio producers.
The National Features and Documentary Series, which aims to encourage storytelling from new and emerging community radio producers from around Australia, is now open for entries.
Emerging community broadcasters are encouraged to submit their idea for a feature, and will receive:
- Industry-standard radio training through the Community Media Training Organisation to help bring their piece to life.
- An experienced mentor, who will work with them to make their piece as excellent as possible.
- Their work shared nationally via the Community Radio Network.
- The chance to win a CBAA Community Radio Award.
- Payment for their work.
The National Features and Documentary Series, which aims to encourage storytelling from new and emerging community radio producers from around Australia, is now open for entries.
The series is open to anyone who volunteers at or is employed by an Australian community radio station.
Interested producers can also register for the upcoming webinar, Your guide to contributing to the National Features & Documentary Series (NFDS), held onWednesday, 14 March 2018 and listen to 2017’s features for inspiration.
The National Features and Documentary Series has been mentoring producers to create half-hour stories since 2013. Check out the features here.
