4BC/4BH General Manager David McDonald, has announced that Chris Adams will be re-joining the 4BC and 4BH team as News Director effective Tuesday 13th June. Chris’s appointment follows on from the recent resignation of Steve Speziale.

Adams who is extremely well known in the Brisbane market previously hosted the Drive shift at News Talk 1116 4BC. Prior to that Chris has an impressive record in News and Current Affairs having worked for both the Seven and Channel Nine TV Networks.

David McDonald told radioinfo he was extremely pleased to be able to obtain the services of somebody with the calibre, reputation and respect that Adams has in the marketplace for the News Director’s role. “He not only knows the market very well but he also knows our operation extremely well, which made him our stand out choice. I know that his return will be most welcomed by our Newsroom, staff and the marketplace as well.”

Chris Adams said that he can’t wait to get back on board with what he believes to be the leading and most proactive Newsroom in Brisbane Radio. He sees this as an ideal opportunity for him to help develop the growth that 4BC in particular has achieved in recent times.
