2GB’s Alan Jones launches Book Club

Being a prolific reader of both non-fiction and fiction books on every topic and a love of books that inspire readers, Alan Jones has launched his own book club.

Commenting on the new web-site, MRN CEO Angela Clark said, “Alan wanted a book club where he could promote books that ‘give back to the readers’. He’s an extremely busy person, but his office is filled with books. Anyone who has a true love of reading wants to share that experience with others. This gives people an opportunity to choose from books that Alan Jones recommends.”

Jones kicks off his book club this month by recommending “Salvation Creek,” by Susan Duncan and “A Doctor’s War,” by Rowley Richards, two amazing stories of Australians triumphing over adversity, and the Pulitzer Prize winning novel, “March” by US-based, Australian, Geraldine Brooks.

The books can be purchased on line and will be delivered anywhere in Australia.

A music store will soon be added to the site to cater for the constant requests from listeners to purchase CD’s recommended by Alan Jones.
