Following a massive few weeks in Nashville, iHeartCountry Australia and KIX Country are bringing fans one final taste of CMA Fest 2025, with a two-hour highlights special airing tomorrow (Saturday, June 21) at 10.00am AEST across both networks.

Hosted by Justin Thomson, 2024 CMA International Broadcaster of the Year, the special will feature standout interviews, music from featured artists and behind-the-scenes stories from the ground in Nashville.

Listeners will hear highlights from fan-favourites and rising stars alike, including Mitchell Tenpenny, Kaylee Bell, Casey Barnes, Raelynn, Kameron Marlowe, Sara Berki, Max Jackson and Big Time Rush.

The special wraps up what was a huge broadcasting effort from Justin, who was on the ground in Nashville representing both iHeartCountry Australia and KIX Country, thanks to Chris Watson Travel.

Over three days of live broadcasts, Justin delivered 18 hours of CMA Fest programming across six feature shows, spotlighting 45 artists and capturing the spirit of the festival with exclusive interviews, social content, and real-time updates

He also hosted a stage at the event, bringing Aussie fans even closer to the action in Music City.

Justin said: “CMA Fest is unlike anything else. Being able to share that with Aussie country fans, to bring them right into the heart of it through our broadcasts, is something I’ll never take for granted.”

Brett “Nozz” Nossiter, Head of Content – Digital Radio, said “This year’s CMA Fest coverage was next level. Bringing both iHeartCountry Australia and KIX Country together for a joint broadcast effort allowed us to deliver something truly special. Justin’s passion and access on the ground gave audiences a front-row seat to one of the world’s greatest music festivals.”

Tune in this Saturday at 10.00am AEST on iHeartCountry Australia and KIX Country.
