CMTO is looking to expand its Board’s skill set

The Community Media Training Organisation is now seeking Expressions of Interest from people across Australia who are suitable and willing to be considered for appointment to their Board of Directors.

The current CMTO Board is comprised of people nominated by peak representative bodies across the community broadcasting sector and they are now seeking to enhance the effectiveness and build the capacity by adding up to two additional independent Directors to the current board of five.

The CMTO Board provides governance and strategic leadership to the organisation and is comprised of people with a wide range of skills and backgrounds.

Director positions are voluntary and there is no remuneration for their work, however reasonable travel expenses are covered.

Board members’ terms are usually three years.
